2024 Roadcheck Scheduled for May 14-16

Be prepared for the upcoming CVSA Roadcheck inspection from May 14-16, as it could significantly impact many trucks traveling on the road. Last year's inspection resulted in 19% of affected trucks being placed out of service.

According to the Truckload Carrier Association, during the 2023 Roadcheck, 59,429 commercial motor vehicles were inspected in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. Vehicles included trucks of all sizes, as well as motorcoaches. A total of 116,669 driver or vehicle violations were identified, which is an average of nearly two violations per vehicle.

It's imperative to ensure that your vehicle is fully equipped for the road and ready for inspection.  During this year's Roadcheck, authorities will also be monitoring to detect any indications of alcohol or substance abuse and/or impairment.  Learn more about the International Roadcheck here.
